Required from September 2025, the children, staff and Governors of William Lilley Infant & Nursery School are seeking to appoint a Manager for our very popular before and after school club.  We are looking for a well organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual to manage and coordinate our breakfast and after school club for children aged 3-7 and create a warm, creative and fun environment for our children.

William Lilley is a friendly, open and nurturing Infant and Nursery school.   We are proud to be one of only 13 schools across Nottinghamshire to be part of the Universal Breakfast pilot scheme, offering a healthy start to the day for our children.  The school aims to promote high aspirations for all and a love of learning through a rich and creative curriculum, which is rooted in fun, engaging and playful first-hand experiences.  Our wraparound provision continues this ethos and will be a warm, welcoming and fun environment for our children.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and be fully involved in the continued development of our wraparound provision.

We are looking for someone who

  • is able to provide and facilitate an inclusive, safe and creative play;
  • can communicate effectively with a wide range of groups and individuals
  • has team leader/manager role experience;
  • can work creatively in partnership with pupils, families, staff, and the wider community;
  • has good organisational skills to be able to plan effectively and respond to unplanned circumstances using their initiative;
  • is able to bring new ideas to the role;
  • is committed to the safeguarding and well-being of children.

We will offer you

  • Happy children;
  • Friendly and supportive colleagues who work hard for our pupils and each other;
  • Extensive grounds with a range of areas for children to play and learn;
  • Training opportunities, including Food Hygiene and First Aid.
