Phonics and Reading

Our vision for Reading and Phonics at William Lilley:

Our children are determined to be readers. We support every child to learn the phonics skills they need to read successfully and to help them understand what they read by developing a wide vocabulary.  All staff share their love of reading with the children and help them to use books and stories to learn and find out about other people and the world around them.
